It was the middle of the afternoon as Leah woke up. Her heart still beating fast from the nightmare she just had. Still breathless she pushed back a strand of her dark hair, where it belonged. She could feel that she was sweaty. Closing her eyes for only a second, taking a calming breath she reminded herself that it had been just a dream. When she turned towards her bedside table and looked at the clock, a sigh escaped her lips. It was shortly after four o´clock and she was already awake. She laid back in her bed again, trying to shake off all her thoughts. To herself she thought, that she could be happy for having at least a few hours of sleep. The whole beeing a werewolf thing messed with her sleep and with her dreams. After all her day was always the same, she got up for the patrols, which she did the whole day. Then after she was finished with it, the Pack had nearly every day something to discuss about, what meant it became later. Then she searched for a place to sleep or got home, when they were allowed to. Followed by getting up at around midnight again for a new patrol. But today, Leah should normally have not gotten up for a patrol.
After a moment laying on her bed she gave up. Leah rolled out of her bed. Silently to not make any noise that could make her mother notice she was awake. She wasn´t sure if Seth was around to but, she didn´t believed it. Fastly she looked around her room for a few clothes, which she found really fastly. So she changed into a pair of jeans, a light blue top, and her black leather jackett. She got a pair of shoes and put them on. Fastly she grabbed a hairbrush and pulled it through her hair a few times. Until they didn´t looked like a haystack anymore. Silently not making a sound she got her window and opened it. Leah looked from her window down to the ground. A moment she didn´t feel awake enough for such a jump, but then she pushed that thought aside and jumped. With a silent dull sound she landed with her feet on the ground. Looking back at the house again, before she started walking out of the backyard and along the street.
Aimelessly she started to walk through the streets of La Push. Watching the streets in the pale light that came through the clouds. It seemed like everyone was inside today, she noticed. Not that she wasn´t happy for that. She loved the quietness and peacefullness that was everywhere around her. She noticed that the cold air that was pulling on her hair and clothes, was quiet comfortable to her. After she all she was a werewolf what meant her body temperature, which was already higher then any humans, cooled down a bit after her restless sleep. It was calming to be outside and to take a walk, at least for Leah. Whenever she wanted to get away from everything, she just needed a walk and a chance to let her thoughts free. Now she was on her way through the main street, which wasn´t a really big street. After all La Push was just a little reservation, beside the small town of Forks. She thought about where to go next and decided it was time to visit some of her friends, if she really could call them that way. They were her Pack members and most of them disliked her, but still they were her Pack members, what meant they could at least pretend to be her friends. As he walked along the streets, she wasn´t paying attention, so she suddenly bumped right into someone. Angrily she said to that person "Can´t you watch where you going?" As she looked up she saw a girl which she had never seen before in La Push and wondered, who she was. Then waited for the girls reaction towards her.

still you call me baby, oh love... just call me by my name... Bella tossed and turned, it had been hard getting used to the small town of Forks, it was just so green and damp all the time. Alice seemed to have adjusted easily, but then that was just the way her cousin was, easily adaptable. Listening to the quiet of the house, she could just hear Charlie's soft snores. He was so happy to have Bella back 'home', though of course to Bella it just seemed...well...weird. The house was still as her mum have left it, Charlie seemed to have problems letting go of the past. It was weird, he was still so in love with Renee. Glancing over to Alice, Bella smiled. If it hadn't been for Alice moving down to Forks, Bella would have been completely alone. It wouldn't have bothered her too much, but it was nice to have someone to share everything with, not to mention having someone starting school at the same time. That meant the attention wouldn't be fixed on her so much.
Throwing the duvet down to the bottom of the bed, Bella glanced at the time. It was nearing one in the afternoon, which meant half the day had gone to waste already. Softly padding through to the bathroom, Bella grabbed her clothes on the way. Alice hated the lack of interest Bella had in fashion, but to her a simple pair of jeans and a light grey t-shirt was good enough. How anyone could dress stylish in the constant rain of Forks was beyond her. Stepping out of the shower, she felt a lot better. The warm water had relaxed her slightly, giving her a moment to breath and remember why she'd moved to Forks. It had all been for her mom, allowing her to move around with Phil, that was what made her truely happy. Shrugging she figured she'd make the most of being in Forks, sure there wasn't a lot to do but then Charlie had suggested going down to La Push to see the Black family. She hadn't really gotten on amazingly well with Rachel or Rebecca, but Jacob had been fun. They would spend ages making mud pies while Charlie and Billy went fishing.
Nodding to herself Bella decided that it would be good for her to visit. She grabbed her boots, pulling them on and lacing them up real tight, paranoid the water might get in and make her socks soggy. Her coat was hanging by the door, so after writing a note explaining to Alice and Charlie where she'd gone, she pulled it on and climbed into her old Chevy truck, bought from Billy Black himself. It was only a fifteen minute drive down to La Push, and when Bella pulled up outside the Black house, it looked as though no one was around. Well that sucked. Sighing she climbed out of the Chevy and took off down to the town, there had to be something to do. Glancing around the small reservation, Bella wrinkled her nose. This place was more green then Forks. It only took a couple of minutes for Bella's attention to be diverted elsewhere, not such a good idea. In those two minutes she wasn't paying attention, she managed to walk into someone coming the opposite way. "Oh my god I'm so sorry..." she started, looking up at the girl infront of her. It wasn't someone she recognized, not that she knew many people around here anyway. [/blockquote]

The whole day Leah, had felt really sleepy and she had wanted time of her own. But as soon as she had been home, she had been even more bored. So when she had went to sleep she had hoped that the rest of the day would go by fast. But now she was already awake. As soon as she had stepped outside the house, she had felt the need to do something. Walking around La Push had seemed like a good idea to her. Besides she needed to clear her thoughts, cause right now they were really making her go crazy. There were days when she felt like she was almost happy again. But there were also days when she felt like crying all the time. All that probably came with her problems and all the werewolf stuff, she thought. This new life wasn´t easy after all it had made everything more complicated. It was not easy to have other thoughts in her mind most of the time, besides to have Sams thoughts in her mind was more then she could take. But no werewolf could be without a Pack she knew, so there was no way she could get free of him. The only good thing about beeing a werewolf was the speed, she thought. Even through Leah couldn´t claim any other title in the Pack, so she could at least claim the title to be the fastest. That was what she was proud about, but everything else in the Pack was more complicated then fun, she thought to herself.
Also she really disliked the fact that her brother had become a werewolf. He was still a young boy in her oppinion, what meant he was to young to be a werewolf. If they now would get into a fight and would get hurt, she asked herself. Leah was sure she couldn´t loose another person she loved. Sure she also still had her mother, but her mother had now a lot to do down here in La Push. She had now taken over her fathers place, what meant she was one of the elders now. A sigh again escaped her lips when she thought about it. To her it was simply not fair that her liefe had changed so fast and in such a way. So many people here lived happy, why couldn´t she be happy, she wondered. Then she remebered that girl she had meet at the beach, she seemed to have been in an similiar situation then Leah. So at least she was not the only one, she thought now with a bit better mood. Also not all people in her new life were bad. Some of them were kind of nice, like that girl or Jacob. They seemed at least tyring to be nice to her and that really meant something to her. It was rare that she found friends, so she really could be thankfull for at least two persons in her life. When she thought that she couldn´t help but smile.
After she had bumped into that other girl, she heared her say "Oh my god I'm so sorry..." Leah looked at the girl, she could tell she was not from La Push, so maybe she was one of the persons from Forks. Still lightly angry she said "Just watch where you going in the future." The way she acted right now was proabably not nice, but Leah simply didn´t felt like behaving nice right now. This girl seemed clumsy and also she was just looking like every other normal girl from town. Something about her seemed almost famliar to her, but Leah couldn´t fully tell what it was. "So are you one of the newcomers to our town?" she asked the girl with a half hearted smile. Leah couldn´t even tell why, but somehow she found that girl really boring and kind of annoying. Sure she didn´t knew that girl, but there was something about her that distubred Leah. She waited patiently for the girls answer, looking around herself. She ntoiced that she was infront of the Blacks house, that even made her smile a little. But she noticed that no one seemed to be home. But then the old Chevy caught her eye, Chief Swan had bought it from Billy Black a few days ago. So suddenly something became clear to her and she asked the girl "Are you Chief Swans daughter?" After all Charlie spent a lot of time in the reservation and so maybe now his daughter had come here too, she thought.
