deep into the darkness is where i hide
[/size]The clouds were a dismal looking gray, with faint patches of what he could only describe as blue sky, the day had been undecided so it seemed, lessons had simply crawled by with little in the way to occupy his mind he had resulted into counting seconds, and then minutes, and then the cracks in the wall, and the doodles on the tables. Was it really all worth it? Glancing around as the lunch bell rang he could not spot either Emmett or Jasper, he presumed Jasper had gone hunting, although he could not be accurate. None the less making his way into the already filled cafeteria Edward, reluctantly made his way into the line and took a plate of food, an apple and water. Placing the items onto his tray he then made his way back over to their usual table that sat by the window near the exit. Picking up his fork he absently begun to push about the food on his plate, the mashed potato was a lot like porridge his fork stuck in it, with a grimace, it was one thing to find some human food still tempting, but another to wonder why some humans, found this food tempting.
With a faintly disgusted looked he dropped his fork back down on his plate and pushed his tray away, before he folded his arms neatly on the table and glance once again out the window. His mind was most certainly filled with thoughts, which this time happened to be his own. His mind unfortunately had fallen victim to the new girl Isabella Swan, or Bella as she preferred he had still yet to tell his siblings about Bella and how she was the only person whoms mind he had not been able to read. With a frustrated sigh. He cast his now golden gaze around the room, his eyes flickered casually over the many cracks in the walls, and the many tiles on the floor, perhaps he could count them to pass the time? his next lesson was free, which was given simply for students to study not that many of them did. Dropping his gaze to the glass of water on his right, he raised a long elegantly pale finger and begun to trail his fingertip around the glasses rim silently as his thoughts remained infatuated with this Bella.
This however only lasted for a moment before Edward then grew tired of it, and pushed the glass to away from him. He doubted the water was any better than the food. as he examined his plate, the peas looked old, the potato like porridge, and the fish fingers looked dry. He would rather eat dirt than eat something that looked like it. The only decent thing that happened to be on his plate was the blood red apple, which contrasted greatly with his pale skin, yet it looked so very tempting yet once again he was reminded of it's taste. Clasping his pale fingers around the apple he lifted it, his eyes narrowed as he studied it intently, his brothers would probably be along soon. At least he hoped he didn't know how long he could possibly stand to remain in such a place, there was only so much buzzing one could cope with before he or she would simply go mad, on the plus side it was better, at least then he would answer to a beings question rather than their thoughts.
